Welcome to KARDALE SENIOR & ST ALBANS JUNIOR NETBALL CLUB

Kardale Senior and St Albans Junior Netball Club is the largest and most successful Netball club in St Albans.

Founded in 1967 by Daphne Payne, the club has evolved from one team to four senior squads who play from Herts County League through to local and friendly leagues with a large junior section.

In the 2010-11 season we have grown considerably, and now offer Netball to children ranging from year groups 3 and 4 through to seniors, and are even running a Back2Netball Course for women of all ages who wish to get back into the sport.

Each member of the club has the opportunity to attend weekly indoor training sessions led by our team of qualified coaches and to compete in leagues at all levels.

Kardale Senior and St Albans Junior Netball Club also offers a training and qualification opportunity for players, coaches, umpires and administrators.

One of the strengths of the club is the mixed age groups and varied experience of the players but above all their enjoyment of the game of Netball.

TRAINING UPDATE (04th May 2012)

Please remember there is NO TRAINING on the 7th May and for the Seniors the Final indoor training at Francis Bacon Sports Hall is on 14th May.

Two open sessions of netball training ( turn up , pay and play) have been organised at Sandridge Netball Courts (next to the cricket ground) on 28th May and 11th June from 6-7.30 for the juniors and fro 7.30-9pm for the Seniors

Outdoor Netball
In addition, we have arranged two club nights of outdoor netball at Sandridge outdoor netball courts on Monday 28th May and Monday 11th June. Years 3-8 will train from 6pm -7.30pm, and year 9 will train with the senior squad from 7.30pm - 9pm. It is a pay as you play session; £1 per person. These sessions are open to all members and are fun evenings of netball.

AGM & Presentation Evening
A reminder that our AGM and presentation evening is on Monday 2nd July 2012, 7.30pm at OAs on the St Albans Road. This year we will be re-registering current members for next season. In order to secure your place you will have to attend the evening or return the registration form with payment before the night. Further details will follow next term.
